I have here a steel boned, custom made corset by Versatile Corsets in the Venus underbust style up for auction. The corset features a one of a kind design mentally constructed by myself and custom printed onto sturdy muslin fabric, which is featured as the central design. Encompassing this design are a variety of different cotton fabrics printed with a queen of hearts/casino/cards theme and more. Grommets adorn each side of the central design in the front for optional lacing. In addition, there is bottom red lacing at the bottom of each side of the corset. Both the top and bottom is garnished with red fringe. Minor flaws include slight loosening of the threading near the bottom left of the corset where the red lacing begins (depicted below) and red fringe in the front that was recently cut to a shorter length. Otherwise, this corset is in excellent condition measuring at 12.5 inches in length, 11 inches in width in the front, and closed at 22 inches in circumference when laced in the back. Includes front busk closure and back panel. This is truly an original corset thought up by no other! Originally purchased for nearly $600 and being sold at nearly 1/5th the price!!! Advice for first time corset buyer
Hey everyone, I'm making what I hope to be a smokin' hot Poison Ivy costume and I need an under bust corset. My figure is 39 bust, 34 under bust, 36 natural waist and 41 hips. I already have a little bit of a curve but I'm really hoping for that dramatic eye popin' comic book effect. The difficult part of this search is my budget. I'd really like to stay under or around 100, but all I'm finding in my price ranger are corsets from ebay. I've already been burned once from ebay and I don't want to do it again. Can any of you suggest a specific corset or a specific seller? The corset's going to be covered completely in ivy, so color doesn't really matter. If anyone can offer me any advice it would be GREATLY appreciated. Again, thank you thank you thank you! |

True Corset?
Hey there! I was wondering if anyone has any experience with True Corset? I understand the best way to go is a custom corset, but if someone was looking for a decent corset to use for burlesque or mainly for show, do these hold up? They don't seem exceedingly cheap, and the website says that they're steel boned (with a decent number of bones, mixed flat/spiral), so it doesn't really seem like a case of "too good to be true". Mostly just curious to hear if anybody has any experience with them and the quality of their corsets. Thanks! |

Lord, an actual post! LOL Elise from Sweet Carousel made this lovely overbust for me recently. Fits like a glove and I adore it. Please pardon the pajama pants- I tried it on as soon as I got it, which happened immediately after I got out of the shower. ;)  |

Wilde Hunt Corsetry - A Work In Progress
 I have been working for many months in collaboration with a performer to create a corset for her to wear in her act. I recently finished my portion of the work and wanted to show you our progress on this interesting corset. I have photographed it with paper panels temporarily attached to it so you can see the overall intended design. The final piece will have metal panels attached to it which the client is having made. Eyecandy: Client commission tulle corset
A client asked me to do a corset-top version of my "Nyx" tulle corset design, and I loved the idea. So ( this )is what she got last week. Just like my "Nyx"corset, it's a single layer corset made of a very special, sturdy tulle fabric. The bones (spiral steel and flat in the back) are covered with cotton satin and coutil. The lace ornaments are all carefully cut out by hand and then placed on the corset individually. She seems to be very happy with the result, and I'm so looking forward to seeing pics of her wearing this corset. |

Wilde Hunt Corsetry - Ammonite Corset
I've been pretty busy lately. We recently photographed the Ammonite Corset at my friend David's home, which is a 10,000 square foot church. It was a great experience and making the ensemble which we photographed was really interesting too! The Ammonite Corset is unique because it has a detachable 3-dimensional vertebral spine which can double as a belt.
